Sago Palm
Cycas Revoluta, also known as Sago Palm, is a species of cycads that thrives in sandy, well-drained soils. Native to Japan, it flourishes in warm climates but can also tolerate cooler temperatures. It resembles a palm externally, with a sparsely branched trunk and large, spirally arranged pinnate leaves. The trunk can reach a diameter of up to 20 cm, and growth is very slow, with older specimens reaching heights of 6-7 m. The leaves are bright green and can grow up to 1.5 m long, with stiff and thin leaflets ranging from 8 to 18 cm in length. New leaves emerge in spring and unfold rapidly.
