Cabbage tree

It can reach a height of 15 m; the trunk, initially straight, branches considerably at the end, and each branch can develop its own floral stem. The sword-shaped leaves, 40–90 cm long and 3–7 cm wide at the base, have numerous parallel veins. The cream or whitish flowers, about 1 cm in diameter including tepals, develop in a dense cluster of 50–100 cm in width. The fruit is a globular berry 5-7 mm in diameter.
