Weeping European Beech

Fagus sylvatica 'Pendula', commonly known as the Weeping European Beech, is a deciduous tree known for its graceful, weeping branches. It can grow up to 25 meters (82 feet) tall, but typically reaches about 15 meters (49 feet) in cultivation. The tree has smooth, gray bark and dark green, glossy leaves that turn a striking golden brown in autumn. The branches of 'Pendula' hang down dramatically, creating a cascading effect. It is often used as a focal point in gardens and parks due to its distinctive shape and elegance.
